Summary
■ In February 2022, the
number of new job openings was 261,000, the number of new job searches was 377,000.
The average offered wage was 2.15 million won and the average desired wage was
2.18 million won; the overall wage satisfaction rate was 98.5%.
■ The overall wage
satisfaction rate increased by 0.3%p, compared to the same month of the
previous year.
■ By employment type,
the wage satisfaction rate in ‘non-fixed term employment contract’ was highest
at 107.2%, increased by 4.8%p compared to the same month of the previous year,
but was lowest at 50.6% in the form of ‘non-fixed term employment contract (part-time),
slightly increased by 0.6%p.
■ Looking at the share of offered wages by employment type in February, the largest share of demand for jobs was in the range of 2.0-2.5million won both in ‘non-fixed term employment contract' and in 'fixed term employment contract' jobs, which increased by 4.2%p and 6.8%p, respectively.
