  • This research project aims the following: (1) examining relationship between labor market conditions (lifetime earnings, working hours, working conditions, and etc.) and marriage and fertility decisions, and (2) identifying labor market conditions contributing to low fertility, and (3) examining expected changes in these labor market conditions (such as changed bias against female workers) due to pertained downward fertility trend. By doing so, it aims to provide policy insights to policymakers.
