    ■ In October 2021, the number of new job openings was 244,000, the number of new job searches was 386,000. The average offered wage was 2.09 million won and the average desired wage was 2.13 million won; the overall wage satisfaction rate was 98.2%.

    ■ By employment type, the wage satisfaction rate in ‘non-fixed term employment contract’ was highest at 107.8% but was lowest at 50.0% in the form of ‘non-fixed term employment contract (part-time). The low satisfaction rate of part-time work is attributable to the low offered wage in October.

    ■ Looking at the share of offered wages by employment type in October, the largest share of demand for jobs was in the range of 2.0-2.5million won, which increased by 2.7%p from the same month of the previous year in ‘non-fixed term employment contract'. In 'fixed term employment contract', the proportion of job demand in the range of 1.5-2 million won was the largest, decreased by 6.8%p compared to the same month of the previous year, but still occupies the largest proportion.
