    In January 2021, there were 191,000 individuals newly looking for a job and 605,000 jobs newly open for recruitment at the average wage of 20,690,000 won and the average desired wage of 21,140,000 won. The overall wage satisfaction rate was 97.9%.


    By employment type, the wage satisfaction rate in ‘non-fixed term employment contract’ was highest at 102.2%, and was lowest at 50.4% in the form of ‘non-fixed employment contract(part-time).


    By employment type, the highest wage satisfaction rate was in ‘guards-janitors’ at 109.2%, followed by ‘cleaning and other personal service-related jobs’, ‘healthcare, medical’, ‘electric-electronic installation-repair-manufacturing jobs’ and ‘simple manufacturing jobs’.


    By job type, the lowest wage satisfaction rate was ‘caregiving service jobs’ at 81.6%, followed by ‘construction, mining’, ‘metal-material installation-repair-manufacturing jobs’, ‘agriculture’ and ‘food services’.
