    In November 2020, there were 200,000 individuals newly looking for a job and 349,000 jobs newly open for recruitment at the average wage of 20,340,000 won and the average desired wage of 20,740,000 won. The overall wage satisfaction rate was 98.1%.


    By employment type, the wage satisfaction rate in ‘non-fixed term employment contract’ was highest at 103.9%, and was lowest at 49.6% in the form of ‘non-fixed employment contract(part-time) which is around half of the wage satisfaction rate.


    By employment type, the highest wage satisfaction rate was in ‘guards-janitors’ at 112.0%, followed by ‘food processing-production’, ‘cleaning and other personal service-related jobs’, ‘electric-electronic installation-repair-manufacturing jobs’ and ‘simple manufacturing jobs’.


    By job type, the lowest wage satisfaction rate was ‘caregiving service jobs’ at 80.3%, followed by ‘construction, mining’, ‘metal-material installation-repair-manufacturing jobs’, ‘construction-mining R&D or engineering-technical jobs’, and ‘agriculture’.
