    Summary

    Employment crisis resulting from the shock of changing industrial structure can have a negative impact on the economy and employment of local communities. This is backed by the different situations before and after the crisis in certain designated regions with employment crisis affected by recent stagnation in shipbuilding and automotive industry. This paper examines the insured people in shipbuilding and automotive industry in Gunsan City, one of the cities designated as a region with employment crisis in April 5, 2018, in order to understand the pattern of labor force mobility in terms of industry, job, and region.
