  • SUMMARY
    The term “collective bargaining” refers to the negotiation between a labor union and employer or employers’ association over employment conditions and other relevant issues for the purpose of reaching a collective agreement. Such bargaining is at the core of collective labor relations, and seeks to maintain and improve working conditions and to enhance the economic and social status of workers.
