    Since the 2016 World Economic Forum, the term “4th Industrial Revolution” has been used interchangeably with “Industry4.0.” The 4th Industrial Revolution, or 4IR, means “revolutionary changes to be brought to the industry by digital technologies that are different from simple computers or the Internet.” 4IR was introduced in the course of the 2016 World Economic Forum by Klaus Schwab promoting Germany’s Industry4.0. Industry4.0 is a concept defined in Germany in an attempt to seek a new way forward for its manufacturing in light of the fact that intelligent information technology keeps advancing. As can been seen, the two concepts clearly have different meanings and dimensions.
